Therapeutic Style: Drawing from a background in philosophy and political science, my approach to counseling is grounded in existential and narrative principles, with a focus on how systemic, cultural and relational contexts shape individual lived experiences. I believe students are the experts on their lived experience and my role is to offer a genuine, present partnership in processing those experiences. Ultimately, I envision the counseling room as a supportive space for students to respond to their realities on their own terms, because how we get there matters as much as where we land.
Professional Interests: Sociopolitical stress, cultural adjustment, identity development, intergenerational dynamics, grief and loss, and trauma-informed approaches to anxiety and depression.
Educational Background: I am currently pursuing an M.S. in clinical mental health counseling at Syracuse University. Prior to this, I received an M.A. in political science from Columbia University and a B.A. in philosophy and political science from Hofstra University.
