Brent Spaulding portraitTitle: Personal Trainer

How I Support Student Health and Wellness: As a college athlete, I experienced firsthand the transformative power of a well-designed fitness program. Through this journey, I have come to appreciate the importance of proper training in maintaining strength and health. My aim is to impart this valuable knowledge to others, enabling them to lead robust and healthy lives whether they are in the traditional college age bracket or, like myself, at a more mature stage in life. I aspire to meet individuals wherever they are on their fitness journey, and my goal is to facilitate lasting, positive changes that extend far beyond their time on campus.

Professional Interests: I am interested in functional training methods that focus on improving movement patterns and enhancing daily living activities. I believe in the importance of functional strength, mobility and stability to prevent injuries and promote overall well-being.

Educational Background: I hold a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Buffalo State University and a master’s degree in fitness and wellness leadership from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Plattsburgh. I am a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).
