As always, vaccination remains the best protection against illness. On-campus Flu Clinics are available for students to receive the influenza vaccine (“flu shot”). As the Barnes Center at The Arch monitors the approaching flu season, we are anticipating a rise in flu cases this year. Students are strongly encouraged to receive their flu shot.
Flu Clinics
- Flu Clinics are hosted annually during the Fall semester. Per need, they are hosted in the Spring semester. Students may receive a flu shot at the Barnes Center throughout the year.
- The schedule is made available within the Patient Portal. Instructions for scheduling and attending an appointment are available on the Patient Portal Instructional webpage.
- The flu shot will be billed to insurance. Most insurance companies cover the cost of a flu shot in full. Students who have a copay or medical charge applied will be billed accordingly to their Bursar account. Please know, ability to pay is not a barrier to service.
