How I Support Student Health and Wellness: In collaboration with the medical providers, I see patients at the Barnes Center at The Arch for well and sick visits. I work as a triage nurse, where I provide health care advice and schedule appointments over the phone. I also provide care through our sexually transmitted infection (STI) clinics and nurse visits.
Professional Interests: I believe that recognizing the importance of the mind-body connection helps us understand how mental well-being and physical health work together to promote overall balance and resilience. I have a strong interest in providing gender-affirming care, creating a comfortable and accessible environment.
Educational Background: I have an Associate in Applied Science degree in nursing from the Pomeroy School of Nursing at Crouse Hospital. I also have a Bachelor of Arts in art history from the University of Rochester.
Hobbies and Interests Outside of Work: I enjoy spending time with my family, swimming, hiking in the Adirondacks and trying new foods and restaurants.
