Therapeutic Style: My theoretical orientation is rooted in a cognitive-behavioral approach coupled with an emphasis on relational and multicultural lenses. I strongly believe in tailoring the therapeutic journey in accordance with the student’s unique life experiences and worldview. My vision of creating a safe and non-judgmental space is backed up by my intuitive listening and insightful understanding of the student’s needs. My identity as a multilingual international student remarkably impacts my work as I explore how different identities intersect to create varying experiences for every one of us.
Professional Interests: I strive to build a solid therapeutic relationship with students who struggle to navigate through their challenges. My experience working in the Center for Disability Resources at Syracuse University has strengthened my potentiality to address students’ distinctive needs and create individualized plans for them. I also incline towards providing trauma-informed care to survivors of violence and abuse. I place paramount importance on inclusion and social justice in my work with international students, looking for support and resources.

Educational Background: I am currently studying for a master of science in clinical mental health counseling at Syracuse University. I completed a bachelor’s degree with honors in psychology from Maharashtra Institute of Technology World Peace University, India.
