Therapeutic Style: My therapeutic orientation is primarily grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy. I incorporate techniques from Motivational Interviewing (MI), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and cognitive processing therapy. In my role as a behavioral health provider, I utilize brief, evidence-based interventions to address concerns related to mood, sleep, emotion regulation, substance use and interpersonal relationships.

Professional Interests: My clinical interests include behavioral health integration, trauma- and stressor-related disorders, and anxiety disorders. My research focuses on maternal health and the prevention of both chronic and infectious diseases in early childhood.

Educational Background: I earned a bachelor of arts in psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles. Before beginning graduate school, I worked as a study coordinator at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine and the Veterans Medical Research Foundation. I completed a master of science in psychology at Syracuse University, where I am currently a fifth-year student in the clinical psychology doctoral program.
