Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
How I Support Student Health and Wellness: I provide basic health care services, like monitoring vital signs, administering medications, managing minor injuries or illnesses, administering vaccinations and screenings, and collaborating with the Health team. I am also part of the intrauterine device (IUD)/Nexplanon team that schedules and manages appointments.
Professional Interests: I have an interest in diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility and Black, Indigenous, and people of color.
Educational Background: I completed my LPN training at the Sidney Johnson Vocational Center located in Syracuse, and I am currently enrolled in school to become a registered nurse at Onondaga Community College.
Hobbies and Interests Outside of Work: I am normally crafting, spending time with my grandson and making someone laugh!
