As a new student and throughout your Becoming Orange journey, you will participate in community wellness activities that build connection, promote community well-being and help you learn more about health and wellness resources and programs. Some activities begin before you arrive, while others take place a few weeks into the semester. Community Wellness Requirements are centered on sexual and relationship violence prevention, alcohol and other drugs, and diversity, equity and inclusion.

Begin accessing training modules Monday, Jan. 9, 2023, to complete AlcoholEdu, Sexual Assault Prevention and the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion training modules. Please note, this is a Required Task for all new students.
Transitioning EVERFI to Vector Solutions
Please note, EVERFI has recently established a partnership with Vector Solutions. This may result in seeing both names.
How do I complete the online training modules?
- To begin, please activate your Syracuse University Email Account. Following, you will be added into the Vector Solutions portal.
- Log into the Vector Solutions portal with your Syracuse University email and password.
- To the left select “My Assignments” to display all pending assignments.
- Select a training to begin. Each training module will take about 60 minutes to complete.
- Complete Part One of each training module (AlcoholEdu, Sexual Assault Prevention, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) by Monday, Feb. 27, 2023.
What will I need?
- Internet access and audio capabilities are required to complete modules.
- Please use an updated web browser (e.g. Firefox, Google Chrome).
Are all incoming students required to complete online training modules?
All first-year and transfer students are required to complete Community Wellness Requirement online training modules, centered on sexual and relationship violence prevention, alcohol and other drugs, and diversity, equity and inclusion. Modules may be completed through multiple sittings. Using the directions, please complete each of the modules (AlcoholEdu, Sexual Assault Prevention, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) by the deadline.
I have completed Part One of the training modules. Do I need to complete Part Two?
To complete the requirement, only Part One of the training module needs to be completed by the deadline. Part Two will be available 45 days following the completion of Part One. Please note, Part Two will only take five to eight minutes to complete and is not a requirement.
How do the survey questions within the modules work?
The modules include survey questions that assess relevant attitudes and behaviors. Your responses will be used to tailor the content of the educational modules that you complete. All responses are confidential; the University will only receive information about the participant group as a whole and will never see individual answers.
I recently completed requirements but there is still a hold on my account.

Speak About It (Fall 2022) | Due: Aug. 28
Through skits, dialogue and monologue, a group of actors educate college students on sexual assault, bystander intervention, consent, healthy sexuality and relationships. Please note, this is a Required Task for students 20 years old and younger.
How do I attend the Speak About It performance?
This event is scheduled to take place during Syracuse Welcome at Goldstein Auditorium. Bring your SU I.D. Card with you!
North campus residents will meet their RA in the lobby of their residence hall 30 minutes prior to the start of the scheduled session. South campus residents and commuter students will meet at Goldstein Auditorium at the time of the session.
How do I receive credit for completing this requirement?
To receive credit for this Community Wellness Requirement, you must attend and swipe your Syracuse University identification card at the performance. Complete event attendance is required. Credit will not be granted to those who are late or leave early. Students must complete the survey after Speak About It to earn credit.
