Additionally, special events and programs are hosted to further unite the campus community in support of a cause and/or to further empower others. Getting vaccinated annually is the best way to prevent the flu. To help students get vaccinated, the Barnes Center at The Arch hosts Flu Shot Clinics and appointments. Learn more on the Flu Clinics webpage.

As part of the national Get Yourself Tested (GYT) campaign, the Barnes Center at The Arch hosts events giving students the opportunity to receive free and confidential sexually transmitted infections (STI) screenings. Hosted by health and wellness interns, Peer Educators or knowledgeable staff, this weekly pop-up is designed to promote wellness and encourage a healthy campus community. Be sure to follow @BeWellSU to know where the Health Hub is popping up next.

Health Hub Water Bottle

Students who participate in 10 Health Hubs will win an exclusive Health Hub water bottle.

Available to Syracuse University students, this free service offers inclusive sexual health supplies (e.g. condoms, lubricants, oral dams, hand protection). The Safer Sex Express prioritizes students' privacy with virtual ordering, discrete packaging, pick-up and delivery options. Learn more on the Sexual Health webpage.

Take Back The Night (TBTN) is an annual rally, march and speak-out event. Syracuse University campus members and the surrounding community unite to raise awareness of sexual and relationship violence. The campus community is invited to join the Barnes Center at The Arch in experiencing and sharing this free health and wellness workshop series.
