The Schine Student Center is the hub of student life on campus. The building offers students spaces for gathering, eating, socializing, studying and more. Additionally, the Student Engagement staff can assist you in reserving meeting spaces and event spaces throughout the building.
In addition to meeting rooms, lounge spaces and versatile seating options, the following resources and offices are located in Schine Student Center:
Syracuse University Campus Store
This retail space places academic resources at the heart of its mission while including new University-branded apparel, a late-night food and grocery market, a coffee stand and a student-focused event space.
Schine Dining Center
The food court includes a mix of local and national dining concepts, including Panda Express, CoreLife Eatery, The Halal Shack, Biscotti Café, Chocolate Pizza Company and Tavola 44. Seating options include several “booth boxes” surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows on the perimeter of the dining area, along with high-top tables, counter-height seating with stools, and a variety of soft seating throughout the building. Dunkin’ is located at a stand-alone location off the building’s central atrium.
Intercultural Collective
Home to the Disability Cultural Center, LGBTQ+ Resource Center and Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) Student Success, the Intercultural Collective promotes identity, inclusion, intersectionality and community.
Panasci Lounge
A quiet space where students can study, get classwork done or take a nap. Wireless access points allow students to connect their laptop computers to the internet and wireless printing. The space is furnished with comfortable lounge furniture and tables and chairs.
Computer Stations
Located throughout the building and available to students, staff, and faculty for any computer needs they have while on campus. Information Technology and Services (ITS) maintains the public computers in Schine Student Center and other labs on campus. For information see ITS Computer Labs.
