Thanksgiving Break 2025 Bus Transportation
Departure Date: Friday, November 21, 2025
Pick-up Location: College Place
Check-in:
- It begins one hour prior to departure.
- All students must be checked in at least 20 minutes before departure to avoid losing their seat.
Bus Ambassadors:
Each bus will have a designated Bus Ambassador coordinated by Student Engagement.
Sold Out Buses:
If a bus is sold out, email boxoffice@syr.edu to be added to the waitlist. If a seat becomes available, you will be contacted by phone.

- New York City (Bryant Park, 42nd St., between 5th and 6th Ave.)
- White Plains, NY (Bloomingdale’s, 175 Bloomingdale Rd.)
- Boston (South Station, 700 Atlantic Ave.)
- Philadelphia (Convention Center, 1101 Arch St., between North 12th and 13th St.)
- Washington, DC (back of Union Station, Bus Terminal, 102 H St NE)
- Rockaway, NJ (Rockaway Mall, 301 Mt. Hope Ave., Macy’s parking lot, upper level)

Return Date: Sunday, November 30, 2025
Return buses will depart from the same location where students were dropped off. Return time is different than departure time. Everyone will be brought back to College Place.

Ticketing & Pricing
Availability:
Tickets will go on sale September 2, 2025, via the Student Box Office. Create an account using the Student Box Office My Tickets Portal. If having trouble, email boxoffice@syr.edu .
Round-Trip Prices: $135.00 for all destinations
Important Ticketing Policies:
- Students must return on the same bus as their departure.
- There are no one-way tickets.
- No refunds will be issued after purchase – please finalize your plans beforehand.
- Tickets are non-transferable. A photo ID is required to board.
- Available only to Syracuse University and SUNY-ESF students. Undergraduate students have priority. Tickets for graduate students may become available closer to the departure date.
- A valid cell phone number is required for emergency or logistical updates.

Trip Details & Requirements
- Each bus accommodates 54 students.
- All buses have onboard restrooms.
- No additional buses or destinations will be added.
- Students are responsible for their own transportation to and from drop-off points.
- Allowed luggage: One suitcase (stored under the bus) and one carry-on. No large furnishings or boxes permitted.
- All students must adhere to Syracuse University’s policies during the trip.
- The Student Government Association (SGA) reserves the right to cancel any bus that does not meet minimum capacity.

Bus Ambassador Program
Each bus will have one Bus Ambassador responsible for:
- Conducting headcounts.
- Reporting emergencies to Student Engagement.

Spring Break 2026
Due to decreased demand, SGA will not offer Spring Break bus service in 2026.

Syracuse Hancock Airport & Regional Transportation Center Shuttles
Limited shuttle service from campus to Syracuse Hancock International Airport and the Regional Transportation Center (RTC) may be available during other break periods. Please check back for updates.
