Greek 101 is designed to provide students with an overview of fraternity and sorority life at Syracuse University. Attendance at Greek 101 is required for any student who wishes to be considered for membership in a fraternity or sorority. In addition to Greek 101, students must also complete the Hazing Prevention module and the Health Promotions: Harm Reduction 101 training.
By the end of each workshop, you will have:
- Gained an understanding of the differences and unique attributes of all seven governing councils.
- Learned about the history of fraternity and sorority life at Syracuse University.
- Received current information on upcoming events hosted by Greek Life and the councils.
- Learned the eligibility requirements for joining the fraternity and sorority community.
Access
The Greek 101 Blackboard course is not yet active once it is the Greek 101 is available for any student to complete on Blackboard, along with the two other required trainings.
