Staff Bio
Dr. Lombard joined Syracuse University as the senior director of Student Engagement in September 2023, and provides oversight to the professional team that manages Schine and Goldstein Student Centers, campus programming and engagement, event and technical services, leadership development, operations and recognized student organizations. Her more than three decades of higher education experience have focused on student learning, engagement and success at several other institutions including, most recently, at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) in Syracuse, where she served as Dean of Students and retired after more than 12 years of service.
A Michigan native, she holds degrees from Ohio University (Ph.D., Higher Education), Michigan State University (M.A., Student Affairs Administration), and Western Michigan University (B.S., Public History and Anthropology). She enjoys living in the University neighborhood, baking, and reading, and is an avid Chicago Cubs fan. She is also the proud mom of a Syracuse Orange (Class of ’28).
Jenna Percoski (she/they)

Jenna graduated from Syracuse University in May 2023 with a bachelor's in psychology and a minor in anthropology. She worked in Student Engagement as a student employee for two years before becoming the Office Coordinator in August 2023, and she is thrilled to be a full-time member of the team! Outside of work, Jenna loves being crafty and spending time outdoors.
As Office Coordinator, Jenna helps to make sure the Student Engagement suites are running smoothly and provides administrative support to the team. Her favorite part of working in Student Engagement is providing information and resources to help people be engaged in the campus community!

Mo Ferreras is the Associate Director of Engagement in the Student Engagement Office. In his role, Mo provides leadership and support in researching, planning, and implementing the engagement experience at Syracuse University. This will include a robust late night social program called “Orange After Dark” with both on-campus and off-campus programming, Traditions Commission, Pop Up Programming, Summer Programming, Performing Arts programs as well serving as director of oversight and advising for University Union (the official programming body for SU). Mo believes that "by enhancing the student experience, giving students a healthy school-life balance through events and programs, and fostering a culture of togetherness and involvement we can develop students into their best selves." When Mo isn’t working you can find him playing video games, playing basketball or spending time with his dog Benny.

Lily is a recent graduate of SUNY Brockport with a Bachelors of Science in Dance. She is most recently known for her work as President of Brockport Student Government, where she developed her keen interest in higher education. In her free time, Lily enjoys spending time with her dogs and her mom, going out to eat with friends, and dancing or doing pilates. Lily is thrilled to join the team at Syracuse University and help create fun events to support a vibrant student experience for all to thrive.

Sophia recently graduated from Syracuse University with a dual major in Communications & Rhetorical Studies and English & Textual Studies. As an Orange alum, Sophia is very familiar with campus life and is thrilled to contribute to the events that make SU such a fun, fantastic community to be a part of! Outside of work, Sophia enjoys writing short stories, skiing, and spending time with friends. She's looking forward to giving back to the school and the people that shaped her.

Scott is responsible for the oversight of Event and Technical Services and the Student Box Office. He supervises the Assistant Director, the Facilities and Technical Supervisors and the ETS student staff. He works with outside vendors and artists to produce events and programs in support of student organizations and the Student Experience Division. Additionally, Scott handles all of the invoicing and payments for use of the student centers.

Jen serves as the Assistant Director of Event and Technical Services. In her role, she manages the day-to-day operations of ETS including supervising the student employment program and the Technical Coordinators and working with student and academic organizations to make their events come to life. She holds a BS from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications in Television, Radio, and Film ’18. Prior to joining Syracuse as full-time staff, she worked in various theaters throughout the Hudson Valley, including the Center for Performing Arts in Rhinebeck. Outside of work, you can find her working on her photography, puzzling, and crocheting!

June serves as an Event & Technical Coordinator, helping to ensure that events run smoothly from start to finish. Having graduated from the Goldring program at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications in 2023, they still spend time freelancing and working as a volunteer with ImageOut in Rochester. Prior to receiving their M.A. at Newhouse, they completed both a B.A. and a B.S. at Utica University in 2019.

Kelly Mullin is the Associate Director of Leadership in the Student Engagement Office. In this role, Kelly directs leadership and support services for the University’s 250+ Recognized Student Organizations. Bringing over 20 years’ experience in nonprofit management, Kelly has held senior leadership positions in local organizations including the YMCA of CNY and the Kelberman Center. Her career has focused on team and organizational development to meet existing community needs. Originally from Rome, New York, Kelly is currently pursuing a master’s degree in public administration from Syracuse University and holds a bachelor’s degree in business, management and leadership from SUNY Empire State University.

Emily serves as the Assistant Director of Leadership and Organizations. In her role, Emily advises RSOs and works to update policies and procedures that impact student organizations at Syracuse. Her favorite part of her job is working with students and empowering them to create change within their organizations, strengthen their leadership skills, and embrace the Syracuse community. When she's not in the office, you can find Emily reading mystery novels, teaching dance at a local studio, or listening to Taylor Swift on repeat.

Rachel serves as the Leadership Coordinator in the Student Engagement office and primarily focuses on leadership development for our student organization leaders and our New Student Organizations (NSOs). She was born and raised here in Syracuse. She obtained her master's degree in higher education from Syracuse University's School of Education. She is also a graduate of SUNY Oswego's bachelor's degree programs in political science and global and international studies, as well as a minor in Spanish language. When she's not in the office, you'll find her walking at Onondaga Lake Parkway, working on a puzzle at her kitchen table, or enjoying all the good food around Syracuse!

Karrie joined the division in January 2023 as a RSO Coordinator of student engagement, Consulting and advising RSOs on campus. Karrie is originally from Saint Louis, Missouri and has worked in the Syracuse Community for over 10 years. Karrie like to focus on collaborating and advising service-based organizations. Her favorite part of working on campus is engaging with the students and guiding them in navigating through policies and procedures. In her spare time, Karrie likes to spend him with her husband and three kids along with teaching kids how to swim. Karrie is an avid Saint Louis Cardinals fan.

Mackenzie is a recent graduate of Nazareth University with a Bachelors of Science in Business Leader and a Bachelors of Science in Dance Studies. She was the president of an on campus organization, Nazareth Dance Organization, and represented the college at multiple American College Dance Association conferences. Currently, Mackenzie is a member of the Garth Fagan Aspiring Dancers Troupe based in Rochester, NY and the National Honor Society of Dance Arts. On her free time Mackenzie likes to work on her dance interests through teaching and choreographing, as well as spending time with her friends and family. She is very excited to join the team and to make the college experience memorable to students!

Becki is a 1997 alumna of Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication with a degree in Public Relations. She has been working for Syracuse University since 2005, joining the Student Engagement team in 2016. Becki oversees the day-to-day operations of the Schine Student Center, Goldstein Student Center, and Skybarn; including facility management, reservations and events, student employment and policy/procedure development. As a former student employee, Becki strives to create opportunities for student employees to grow and learn outside of the classroom and develop skills to assist them in any career.

Sam attended Alfred State College where she earned her Bachelors in Human Services Management and went on to work in Residence Life, Student Activities, and New Student Orientation before transitioning to Syracuse. She has a passion for education and development. She is now helping to oversee the daily operations of the Student Centers and the reservations of spaces for events and meetings across campus.

Shannon has been a part of the operations team since May 2022. As the facilities coordinator at the Schine Student Center, she oversees daily operations of the building and the events that take place in it. She also oversees the hiring process of student employees and their work schedules.

Peter joined the operations team in May 2022 as the Coordinator of the Goldstein Student Center. In this role, he oversees the daily operations of the building and works with campus partners and student engagement staff to bring events and student programming to Goldstein to enhance the student experience.
Prior to joining Syracuse University, Peter held leadership roles at Bishop Ludden High School in Syracuse and the Northwest Family YMCA. He holds a masters degree in Education from East Carolina University and a bachelor's degree in psychology from Syracuse University.
