Thanksgiving Break officially runs November 24-December 1, 2024. We understand that many of you will use this time to visit friends and/or family; however, all of our residence halls and South Campus apartments remain open throughout the break.
For those of you who will be staying in your residence hall for some or all of break, it is important to realize that some residential services will be reduced from November 22-December 1. Main desks hours will be reduced as follows:
-
November 22-27: 12-3 p.m.;
-
November 28 and 29: closed;
-
November 30: 10 a.m.-4 p.m.;
-
December 1: 10 a.m.-10 p.m.
In addition, the following services will be affected due to reduced student staffing availability:
- No package distribution will occur during break week.
- A Resident Advisor will be on-call during the day and night throughout the break period. The phone number will be posted at the main desk.
- University offices are officially closed November 28 and 29.
- The Residential Safety Community Officer (RCSO) program will continue throughout break.
South Campus Apartments: Packages continue to be delivered to your apartment doorstep based on carrier schedules. If you live in the South Campus apartment community and will be leaving for break, please consider postponing or adjusting package deliveries until after you return so that you are on campus when they are delivered.
Other campus services may also be impacted by the break period.
- The Food Services page provides the most up-to-date information on dining options during the academic year and break periods.
- Review the Barnes Center at the Arch for the center’s current hours of operation.
- The Student Engagement pages contain information pertaining to hours of operation for the Schine Student Center and the Goldstein Student Center.
If you have any questions, please contact a member of your Student Living team (RA or RD). Best wishes for a relaxing break where you are able to return refreshed for your push through finals week!
