Orientation for transfer students will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2026. What to expect, schedule and more will be sent directly to the Syracuse University Email account (i.e. @syr.edu) of new transfer students in August.
Welcome Week Schedules
New Syracuse University transfer students should review the complete Welcome Week Schedule and plan to attend events from Thursday, Aug. 20-Sunday, Aug. 23, 2026. Welcome Week event highlights include School and College meetings, academic advising and social events held each night for all new students.
