The Student Advisory Council serves as a volunteer council of undergraduate, graduate and law students who provide insight, advice and recommendations on issues related to student life. The group meets with Student Experience leaders, among other University leaders, to discuss topics spanning health and wellness, diversity and inclusion, campus safety, dining services and much more.
The first meeting is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 25, 2026, from noon-1:30 p.m. in 229 Schine Student Center. The Student Advisory Council will then meet on the following dates for the 2026-27 academic year: Oct. 23, Dec. 4, Feb. 12, March 26 and April 23.
The application to join the Student Advisory Council for the 2026-27 academic year opens Saturday, Aug. 1. Students of all years and majors are encouraged to apply. The deadline to apply is Friday, Sept. 11, 2026, at 5 p.m.
