Knowing When a Bill is Ready

An email notification is sent when an electronic bill (e-bill) is created and available to view on MySlice. (Please note, you will need your NetID and password.) If you are on the Monthly Payment Plan, you may pay for the semester in monthly installments. Explore the billing and payment schedule on the Accounts and Billing webpage.

Syracuse University offers students a platinum-rated health insurance plan administered through Aetna Student Health. Each year, all full-time, matriculated undergraduate, graduate and law students must enroll in or waive out of the Student Health Insurance Plan through their MySlice account. Students within traditionally online degree programs are not eligible to enroll in or waive the Student Health Insurance Plan.

Due: Please note that dates will be finalized and shared by Summer 2023. The deadline to enroll into or waive out of the Student Health Insurance Plan is in September 2023. Please note, dates are subject to change. June Bursar bills will reflect the anticipated premium charge unless an approved waiver is received by the early June deadline (coming soon).

Complete: Please explore information about the Student Health Insurance Plan and the MySlice enroll/waive form. (You will need your NetID and password.)

    Required for: All students.

Contact: For additional information or to request accommodations, please visit the Student Health Insurance webpage, email the Student Health Insurance Office or call 315.443.9019.

No Action Taken: Students must enroll into or waive the Student Health Insurance Plan by the above date. Failure to take action or receive an approved waiver by the date above will result in automatic enrollment into the Student Health Insurance Plan and the anticipated premium fee to remain on the student's Bursar account. Additionally, this will result in a delay of active insurance coverage and access to insurance cards.

Please Note: Requirements are subject to change.
