Cydavia Patterson

Cydavia Patterson joined the Intercultural Collective in Sept 2023. As Program Coordinator of the Barner-McDuffie House, Cydavia is responsible for maintaining the Barner-McDuffie House’s house operations, developing programming, and supporting students in their pursual of black excellence. 

Cydavia Patterson received her Bachelor’s in Individualized Study defending her colloquium, Principles and Identities of Corporate Culture, from New York University. She received her Master’s in Talent Development and Human Resources from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain. Over her lifetime, she has traveled to 6 out of 7 continents, exploring different cultures and their relations with black-identifying individuals. Her professional journey has led her through a plethora of industries, but all with a focus on building partnerships and programming.   

Cydavia is interested in initiatives that focus on culture, content, and community. In her free time, Cydavia enjoys spending time with her loved ones, writing songs and scripts.  She also enjoys exploring new places, binging a new Netflix show, and reading free iBook fantasy novels.
