Emily Porter

Emily Porter joins the Intercultural Collective staff as the Coordinator of Mentoring for Belonging and Student Success. She brings a strong passion for ideas, innovation, and supporting student achievement. In her role, Emily will work closely with students to foster social development, strengthen their sense of belonging, and enhance their academic success.

Emily earned her bachelor’s degree from Houghton University, where she completed a dual major in psychology and music. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, playing the flute, traveling, visiting friends, reading, and exploring new hobbies. Her most recent interests include learning how to make scrunchies and do makeup.

Emily is excited to serve the Syracuse University community through her role and looks forward to contributing to student success.
