Disability Cultural Center

The Disability Cultural Center (DCC) coordinates campuswide social, educational and cultural activities on disability issues for students, faculty, staff and community members with and without disabilities.

Disability Identity, Community and Connection

Syracuse University’s Disability Cultural Center provides a space for connection and community, welcoming people with all disabilities. The Disability Identity workshop will explore disability identity formation and the ways students with disabilities practice agency, develop and reassign a sense of self on campus, and connect with the disability community at Syracuse University. Dimension of Wellness: Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility Attend a workshop within each Dimension of Wellness to earn a graduation medallion and certificate!

Creative Community Affinity Group

April 21, 2023 at 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm
Schine Student Center

Create with an artist in residence! Find a sense of belonging through creative expression while connecting with others. Supplies and inspiration will be provided. No artistic experience or skill is necessary. Sponsored by the Disability Cultural Center, Office of Diversity and Inclusion, and the Department of Creative Arts Therapy.
