Located in 014 Bird Library, the Center for Learning and Student Success (CLASS) provides and facilitates academic support services for Syracuse University students. Through collaboration with academic departments and campus offices, CLASS coordinates programs and disseminates information surrounding available campus academic resources. At no cost, highlighted services include the following.

  • Free academic integrity education and training.
  • Free personalized academic coaching.
  • Free small-group tutoring and workshops.

Beginning in Fall 2023, students are able to design their course schedule with our Shared Competencies in mind. The Shared Competencies are six learning goals that enhance your experience at Syracuse University. Students achieve the Shared Competencies through major degree courses, liberal arts requirements, electives, campus jobs and co-curricular experiences. The Shared Competencies include the following.
