How to Use the Schedule Links
To build your own unique Spring Welcome Week schedule, you are encouraged to do the following.
- Set Up Your Calendar: Ensure your SU Mail calendar (@syr.edu) or Google Calendar (whichever you prefer) is set up on your mobile device. We recommend getting comfortable with your SU Mail calendar as this is what faculty, advisors and staff will use to connect and schedule meetings with you.
- Explore and Add Events: The University Events Calendar will have every event happening on or around campus. Add events you are interested in attending to your preferred calendar.

Have Welcome Week information at the tip of your fingers by downloading the new OrangeNow mobile app before heading to campus! Campus Hours of Operation
Campus offices will be open before the first week of class to accommodate the needs of new and returning students from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday, January 5-Friday, January9, 2025. The first day of classes is January 12, 2026.
