These come-and-go sessions are the perfect opportunity to build community and make connections outside of your classes and residence hall. With two different sessions offered throughout Welcome Week, you can attend the meet ups that interest you without missing any required meetings.
What to Expect at a Meet Up
- When: Each session runs for two hours.
- How it Works: Our Welcome Week Leaders will be there to help you break the ice and get conversations started.
- Stay for a bit or stay for the whole time! You can drop in for a few minutes or stay for the entire session—it’s up to you. You’re welcome to attend as many Meet Ups as you’d like.
Who Can Attend?
Feel free to attend any Meet Up that sounds interesting, regardless of your field of study, race, national origin, ethnicity, hometown or other characteristics. These events are about learning something new, continuing a hobby you already have and celebrating what makes us unique.
