Thanksgiving Break

We hope that your experience living in our community this fall has been positive. As we near the middle of the semester, we are rapidly approaching Thanksgiving Break, which officially runs November 19-26, 2023. We understand that many of you will use this time to visit friends and/or family; however, all of our residence halls and South Campus apartments remain open throughout the break.

For those of you who will be staying in your residence hall for some or all of break, it is important to realize that some residential services will be reduced from November 17-26. The information below summarizes these services:

  • Main desks hours will be significantly reduced with staffed hours posted at your main desk;
  • No package distribution will occur during break week;
  • A Resident Advisor will be on-call during the day and night throughout the break period. The phone number will be posted at the main desk.
  • University offices are officially closed November 23 and 24.
  • The Residential Safety Community Officer (RCSO) program will continue throughout break.

South Campus Apartments: Packages continue to be delivered to your apartment doorstep based on carrier schedules. If you live in the South Campus apartment community and will be leaving for break, please consider postponing or adjusting package deliveries until after you return so that you are on campus when they are delivered.

Other campus services may also be impacted by the break period.

If you have any questions, please contact a member of your Student Living team (RA or RD). Best wishes for a relaxing break where you are able to return refreshed for your the push through finals week!
