South Campus Operations
Student Living on South Campus wants to continue serving you in the best and safest way possible. Please be aware of our operating procedures:
- Student Living (SL) on South Campus will be open standard University business hours of Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., beginning August 29, 2022.
- Meetings with SL staff are available either in-person or virtually using Zoom.
- If you need to contact the office, please call 315.443.3893 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- If you arrive at the office exhibiting signs of illness, such as a fever, cough, or shortness of breath, you will be expected to leave the Goldstein Student Center and contact the Barnes Center, Health Care at 315.443.8000.
Student Living staff on South Campus appreciates your willingness to keep the Syracuse University community as safe and healthy as possible.
Resident Advisors are on-call for the Skyhalls each evening beginning at 8 p.m. They are be able to assist you with managing any emergency needs or concerns. The number for the South Campus RA on-call is: 315.558.2062.
South Campus Mail Operations
Note: To help reduce chances for package loss/theft, the Department of Public may place packages in your apartment entryway if they observe them in front of your apartment. When doing so, DPS will knock first and have their body camera turned on to record their entry to place your items inside your front door. After placing the item(s) inside your entryway, DPS will close and secure your front door.
All South Campus mail is delivered directly to your apartment by all major carriers. United States Postal Service (USPS) packages that cannot fit in your assigned mailbox are placed in the parcel locker in the same mailbox cluster where your mailbox is located. To access the locker, a key will be placed in your mailbox to open the parcel locker.
Mail for South Campus apartment residents goes in your mailbox. If you don’t know where that is or do not have a mailbox key, please contact the Housing Office at 315.443.2721 or email@example.com.
Packages shipped via private vendor (e.g., UPS/FedEx/DHL), as well as packages that do not fit in the parcel lockers in your mailbox cluster, will be delivered directly to your doorstep.
If you are missing a package or believe your package was delivered incorrectly or stolen, contact the business that you purchased the item from or the carrier directly. You may also contact the Department of Public Safety at 315.443.2224 to file a report.
