The University Conduct Board (UCB) provides an opportunity for students to serve the University community, develop life-long skills in facilitating and resolving conflicts, and promote civility and citizenship within the Syracuse University community.
The UCB has the jurisdiction to hear and resolve cases involving students or student organizations charged with violating the Syracuse University Student Conduct Code (except in cases involving academic dishonesty). Additionally, students selected for the Board will be expected to create outreach opportunities on topics such as personal safety, citizenship, living in a diverse community, and personal values.
Students on the UCB are matriculated full-time undergraduate or graduate students at Syracuse University. All UCB members undergo an intensive training program to develop the skills necessary for this position.
