There are a ton of opportunities across campus, no matter what your interests are. You just have to start looking. You can always find activities on the\u00a0<\/span>Syracuse University Community Calendar<\/span><\/a>, but you should feel encouraged to go further. Here are a few ways to start:\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Join a Student Org<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

One of the more obvious ways to get involved is joining a student organization. But how do you get started? A few ways: browsing\u00a0<\/span>\u2019Cuse Activities<\/span><\/a>\u00a0and attending the\u00a0<\/span>Involvement Fair<\/span><\/a>\u00a0on Thursday, Sept. 9.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Still not sure? Asking your roommate, friends or even an RA about their favorite clubs and orgs is always a great place to start. Also, be sure to\u00a0<\/span>track your involvement<\/span><\/a>, so down the line, you can showcase your campus involvement!\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Join a Sport Club<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Our varsity sports aren\u2019t the only teams winning championships! There\u00a0are\u00a0over\u00a0<\/span>50 sport clubs<\/span><\/a>, many who compete and win on a regional and national scale. So, if you\u2019re looking to stay active in a team setting and want a little more structure than\u00a0<\/span>intramural sports<\/span><\/a>, consider joining a sport club! Learn more and meet some of our fantastic student leaders at the\u00a0<\/span>Sport Club Fair<\/span><\/a>\u00a0on Tuesday, Sept. 7.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
