Even though our world is becoming more virtual, there are still a lot of ways to connect in person and on campus, especially right now! Here\u2019s what we\u2019re excited for this semester:<\/p>\n<h2>The Stadium Open Quad<\/h2>\n<div>\n<div data-tid=\"messageBodyContainer\">\n<div data-tid=\"messageBodyContent\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>We might not be able to experience the Stadium with 30 thousand Orange fans this year,<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>but we\u2019re going to be able to experience it on the field this semester! We\u2019ll have access to an indoor \u2018Quad\u2019 to safely gather, study, relax and play. Starting next week, the Open \u2018Quad\u2019 will be available on Tuesdays and select Wednesdays, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. To get to the Open \u2018Quad,\u2019 be sure to bring your Syracuse University I.D. and enter through either Gate A or Gate N. \u00a0If you need an accessible entrance, be sure to use Gate A.<\/p>\n<h2>Intramural Sports<\/h2>\n<p>Intramural Sports are a great way to connect with friends, meet new people and experience friendly competition. While there are a bunch of virtual intramural sports opportunities this semester, there\u2019s also in-person sports that will be in the Stadium. Be sure to sign up for 3 vs. 3 soccer, kickball, wiffleball and more! Learn more about Intramural Sports on the <a href=\"https:\/\/ese.syr.edu\/bewell\/intramural-sports\/\">Barnes Center website<\/a>, and sign up on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imleagues.com\/spa\/intramural\/f415211086d84e9a8d06659da4dbf60b\/home\">IMLeagues<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>Team sports not your vibe? Consider taking a <a href=\"https:\/\/ese.syr.edu\/bewell\/drop-in-fitness-classes\/\">group fitness class<\/a> to connect with others and focus on your own workout!<\/p>\n<h2>Orange After Dark<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ese.syr.edu\/studentactivities\/orange-after-dark\">Orange After Dark<\/a> is always one of our favorites! With late night events every weekend, it\u2019s a great way to be with friends and try something new. You\u2019re not going to want to miss out on this week\u2019s<a href=\"https:\/\/calendar.syracuse.edu\/events\/2021-feb-12\/orange-after-dark-lunar-new-year-celebration\/\"> Lunar New Year Celebration<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/calendar.syracuse.edu\/events\/2021-feb-13\/orange-after-dark-palentines-day\/\">Palentine\u2019s Day<\/a>! There\u2019ll be calligraphy workshops, Kahoot trivia, selfie stations, crafts and more! Learn more about<\/p>\n<h2>Outdoor Adventure Trips<\/h2>\n<p>Getting out in nature with friends has so many benefits! Outdoor Adventure Trips are a great way to experience Central New York, meet people with similar interests and get off campus for a while. Just like last semester, there are a ton of trips, including skiing, snowshoeing, hiking and snow tubing! If you\u2019re not too fond of Syracuse winters, no worries. Hiking trips will be available later in the semester when the weather starts warming up. Save your spot in the <a href=\"https:\/\/ese.syr.edu\/bewell\/wellness-portal\/\">Wellness Portal<\/a> soon! These fill up fast.<\/p>\n<h2>Soul Series<\/h2>\n<p>We can&#8217;t say enough about the Barnes Center&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/ese.syr.edu\/bewell\/soul-series\/\">Soul Series<\/a>! We love connecting with others and really diving into great conversation about life, meaning and purpose. The Soul Series is open to any Syracuse Student looking to find connection, and honestly, it&#8217;s so helpful. We definitely recommend applying to <a href=\"https:\/\/ese.syr.edu\/bewell\/soul-series\/#s:soulsearch\">SoulSearch<\/a> this semester. SoulSearch is a free, one-day retreat that helps you build mindfulness skills and balance. <a href=\"https:\/\/students.syr.edu\/machform\/view.php?id=525931\">Apply today<\/a>!<\/p>\n<h2>Finding Events<\/h2>\n<p>There\u2019s always something going on! You just have to know where to look. Luckily, the University Community Calendar and \u2019Cuse Activities make it easy. The <a href=\"https:\/\/calendar.syracuse.edu\/events\/\">Community Calendar<\/a> is home to all University-sponsored events, including lectures, workshops, and more. <a href=\"https:\/\/cuseactivities.syr.edu\/\">\u2019Cuse Activities<\/a> is home to all registered student organizations and their amazing events! You can browse through all the different orgs on campus, see what they have going on and get involved.
