The Spring 2024 Stay Late Request form is now live. Form will close on May 3, 2024.
Final examinations for the spring 2024 semester occur May 2, 3, 6, and 7, 2024. All residential students are expected to move out of their housing assignment within 24 hours after their last final or by May 8, 2024, whichever comes first. If you need to stay longer than 24 hours after your last final, you must complete this form and indicate the reason for your request. Submission of a Stay Late Request does not guarantee approval. All requests will be reviewed and students will be notified via their SYR.EDU email of the decision following a review of the request.
Information for Graduating Seniors: If you are a graduating senior who lives in campus housing, you must also complete the Stay Late Request form if you intend to remain in the residence halls or South Campus apartments through Commencement weekend.
Information for Sheraton Students: Requests for any time beyond 12 noon, May 8 that are approved will require you to relocate to another location on-campus. This may include a residence hall space, a location in 727 South Crouse, or a South Campus apartment. The assigned location will be determined by the Housing Office. ***
Please be aware that all residence halls and South Campus apartments close at 6 p.m., May 12, 2024, for the spring semester. Requests to remain longer than this time will not be granted. To ensure time for processing and response, this form should be submitted no later than 5 p.m., May 3, 2024.
