Orange After Dark recruits undergraduate students from all class years and majors through an application and interview process to become Event Board members. We look for students who are interested in helping create, plan, execute and assess our late night events. Responsibilities include coordinating event logistics and marketing and working at OAD events.

Nashon Ash (he/him/his) Link
Nashon is from Syracuse, NY and a member of the class of 2024. He joined Orange After Dark because he is eager for the opportunity to experience what goes on behind events to build a better sense of creativity and business skills. Nashon’s special interest are music production and fashion. Nashon is also involved in University Union and Audio Engineering Society.

Lily Braden (she/her/hers) Link
Lily is from Portland, Oregon, and is a member of the class of 2023. She is studying English Education with a minor in Psychology. In addition to the OAD Event Board, she is a Peer Educator for Mental Health and Empowerment through the Barnes Center, in the Honors Program, a team leader for the Students Advocating for Mental Health Empowerment (SAMHE), on the Student Advisory Council, and a FYS Peer Leader. She is excited to use her passion for planning mental health initiatives utilizing spaces on campus to help brainstorm creative OAD events!
Emma Chasse

Emma is from Winchester, Massachusetts and a member of the class of 2022. She is a double major in Psychology and Forensics in the College of Arts and Sciences. She joined Orange After Dark to help give my fellow students an exciting way to get off campus as well as balance the stresses of classwork and can’t wait to dive into event planning and help create events for everyone on campus to enjoy!

Courtney Conte (she/her/hers) Link
Courtney is from Allentown, PA and a member of the class of 2023. She is double majoring in Biology and Neuroscience with a minor in German. In addition to her work on the Event Board, Courtney is involved with FYP, plays the cello, is a member of the Honors Advisory Board, and a Global Ambassador for Study Abroad. Outside of her campus involvements and Orange After Dark, she enjoys crocheting in her free time!

Shally Da (she/her/hers) Link
Shally is from Syracuse, NY, and is a member of the class of 2023. She is a student in the Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics majoring in Public Health with a concentration in Health Care Management, hoping to go into the medical field. Besides OAD, Shally is also a member of Kappa Phi Lambda Sorority Inc., Campus Connect, ASIA, and MGC. Shally is known for her amazing sense of humor and love for karaoke, always bringing joy to the Event Board and at Orange After Dark Events.

Kelly Davis
Kelly Davis (she/her/hers) Link
Kelly is from Littleton, Massachusetts and is a member of the class of 2023. She is a student in the Whitman School of Management and Newhouse School of Public Communications majoring in Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises, and Television Radio and Film. Kelly is also involved as a founder of EmpowerU, a Whitman Ambassador, Peer Mentor, and an OttoTHON Fundraising Committee Member. Kelly’s favorite OAD events include Grocery Bingo, Pinterest Party and Paint Night. By joining the board, Kelly hopes to make campus a fun space for students to destress and make friends.
Hannah Katzman (she/her/hers) Link
Hannah is from Natick, Massachusetts and is a member of the class of 2022. She is studying Television, Radio, & Film in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications with a minor in Psychology. She is part of Syracuse’s late-night comedy show, Live From Studio B, as well as a member of Alpha Phi Omega, a co-ed community service fraternity. She is also involved in Campus Cursive, a group that writes encouraging letters to students and others in need. As part of the OAD Event Board, she wants to help students connect with each other by planning fun activities on campus and in the Syracuse community. Hannah is creative and loves to bake, two things that make her an asset to the Event Board!

Ivy is from New York City, NY, and is a member of the class of 2023. She is a student in the College of Arts & Sciences, double-majoring in History and English & Textual Studies. Besides Orange After Dark, Ivy is also a member of the A&S Dean’s Team, a Creative Writing Ambassador, and a Resident Advisor. Ivy looks forward to planning fun, engaging, and inclusive events.

Rachel is from Buffalo, NY and is a member of the class of 2024. She is a double major in Biochemistry and Neuroscience with a minor in Chinese Language on a pre-med track. She is a part of WellsLink, the Honors Program, and the Rebecca Lee Pre-Health Honors Society. Rachel loves event planning, enjoys anything matcha flavored, and can touch her tongue to her nose!
Inaya Madyun (she/her/hers) Link
Inaya is from West Chester, Pennsylvania and is a member of the class of 2023. She is in the Bandier Program for Recording and Entertainment Studies in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. She is also a Resident Advisor in Lawrinson Hall and a member of the Syracuse University Women’s Rugby Team. She joined the event board because she enjoyed going to OAD events her first semester and thought being part of the event board would be a great opportunity to be involved with planning OAD events.

Katie is from Albany, NY, and is student currently in the School Of Education, hoping to transfer into Whitman to pursue a degree in Business Management. In the Fall 2019 semester she participated in the Disney College Program at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL, and is also a member of Alpha Chi Omega, a sorority on campus. Katie always loves to meet new people and to bring smiles to peoples faces and believes that Orange After Dark is the perfect opportunity to do so.
