Yes, all students are required to take the SummerStart seminar course (CLS 100). Topics include high school to college transition, academic expectations, university resources, critical thinking, study and time management skills and reflection.

School/college advisors will register students approximately one to two weeks prior to the start of the program. Students have the ability to discuss course options by contacting their academic advisor.

Room types available depends on which residence hall is assigned for SummerStart.  Typically rooms will be either split or open doubles.  All roommate pairings are selected at random. Students will find out their roommate during move-in.
