Community Wellness Requirements

As a new student and throughout your Becoming Orange journey, you will participate in community wellness activities that build connection, promote community well-being and help you learn more about health and wellness resources and programs. Some activities begin before you arrive, while others take place a few weeks into the semester. Community Wellness Requirements are centered on sexual and relationship violence prevention, alcohol and other drugs, and diversity, equity and inclusion.

Three EVERFI Training Modules | Due: Aug. 1

Begin accessing EVERFI Friday, July 1, 2022 to complete AlcoholEdu, Sexual Assault Prevention and the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion training modules. Please note, this is a Required Task for all new students.

All first-year and transfer students are required to complete EVERFI online training modules, centered on sexual and relationship violence prevention, alcohol and other drugs, and diversity, equity and inclusion. Modules may be completed through multiple sittings. Using the directions below, please complete each of the modules (AlcoholEdu, Sexual Assault Prevention, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) by the deadline.

For additional information or if you would like to request accommodations, please email Barnes Center at The Arch Health Promotion or call 315.443.8000.

  • Internet access and audio capabilities are required to complete modules.
  • Please use an updated web browser (e.g. Firefox, Google Chrome).

The modules include survey questions that assess relevant attitudes and behaviors. Your responses will be used to tailor the content of the educational modules that you complete. All responses are confidential; the University will only receive information about the participant group as a whole and will never see individual answers.

To complete the requirement, only Part One of the EVERFI module needs to be completed by the deadline. Part Two will be available 45 days following the completion of Part One. Please note, Part Two will only take five to eight minutes to complete and is not a requirement.

During business days of Monday through Friday, Community Wellness Requirement completions are processed within 24 to 48 hours. If this timeframe has passed, please email Barnes Center at The Arch Health Promotion or call 315.443.8000.

To request accommodations for a disability, please email the Center for Disability Resources or call 315.443.4498.
