Instead, follow the campus signage and proceed to the designated <strong>holding line<\/strong> for your Residence Hall.\n<ul>\n<li>For students moving into Skyhall, proceed to <a href=\"https:\/\/experience.syracuse.edu\/student-engagement\/student-engagement\/goldstein-student-center\/\">Goldstein Student Center<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>On-Site Support:<\/strong> Once permitted to your Residence Hall from the holding line, students will be greeted by staff volunteers, the Goon Squad and Welcome Week Leaders, all of whom will physically assist students with the unloading of their vehicle. Staff from Parking and Transportation Services (PTS) and the Department of Public Safety (DPS) will provide specific instructions for unloading your vehicle and where to park.\n<ul>\n<li>Students moving into Skyhall will have access to moving bins but will be able to take their time moving in as well as parking near the residence hall. Card Services<\/a><span>\u00a0<\/span>will notify students of their housing assignment and roommate around mid-July through their Syracuse email address (i.e. @syr.edu). Move-In Registration details are included in that email.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assignments reflect a random placement into one of 16 residential facilities on both North and South Campus.<\/li>\n<li>All new first-year students are placed on North Campus while new transfer students are traditionally placed into the transfer student community within the South Campus Skyhalls.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Please understand that the University will not grant room changes for any reason prior to your on-campus arrival.\u00a0<\/strong><span>Collectively as a University, we believe that the residential college experience is about learning new things and meeting\/living with people who are different from you.
