From planning programs, interacting with the faculty, and helping students successfully transition to Syracuse University, Living Learning Community Resident Advisors (LLCRAs) have a huge impact on the experience of the living learning community students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">LLC RAs are just like other RAs, but with a few added tasks and responsibilities, which include but are not limited to:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assist with providing additional Living Learning Community (LLC) engagement opportunities a year\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>&#8216;LLC Welcome&#8217; during\u00a0 Welcome Week<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Beginning of the semester LLC meals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fall Bonding event<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Faculty Experience events in the Fall &amp; Spring semesters<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Academic Stress Break<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experiential Enrichment event<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8216;Semester Send-off&#8217;, the all-LLC end-of-the-year celebration event<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interact with LLC Faculty\/Staff at team meetings or when planning programs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Serve as a teammate to peer mentors and those serving on a LLC team<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Serve as an ongoing recruitment ambassador to potential LLCRAs and incoming first-year LLC residents<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To compensate for the extra responsibility, LLCRAs receive a maximum stipend of approximately $660 per year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-2 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" data-id=\"819\" src=\"https:\/\/experience.syracuse.edu\/llc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/19\/2023\/08\/MMW_2023SyracuseWelcome_LLCPicnic_00080-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-819\" srcset=\"https:\/\/experience.syracuse.edu\/llc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/19\/2023\/08\/MMW_2023SyracuseWelcome_LLCPicnic_00080-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/experience.syracuse.edu\/llc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/19\/2023\/08\/MMW_2023SyracuseWelcome_LLCPicnic_00080-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/experience.syracuse.edu\/llc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/19\/2023\/08\/MMW_2023SyracuseWelcome_LLCPicnic_00080-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/experience.syracuse.edu\/llc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/19\/2023\/08\/MMW_2023SyracuseWelcome_LLCPicnic_00080.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">LLC RAs at Syracuse Welcome, Living Learning Communities, Orientation Picnic<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 2026-27 RA &amp; LLC RA Application will open on December 1st, 2025.
