Sessions are first-come, first-served, and wait times may be longer during peak hours.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Each session includes three free photos, with posing tips for a great professional portrait. The touchscreen booth can also be controlled from your smartphone via QR code.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Editing is simple! Limited retouching is available during the session, and additional edits\u2014like teeth whitening, blemish removal, and filters\u2014can be made afterward in your Iris account. If you\u2019re comfortable using Instagram, you\u2019ll have no trouble using the photo booth. You can also retake one photo per session.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use the booth as often as you\u2019d like throughout the semester or academic year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Photos are emailed immediately and remain accessible for up to a year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The photo booth is self-service, but staff is available if you need assistance. The navigation screen is touch-sensitive; however, you can also use your phone by scanning the QR code.<\/li>\n<li>Follow or skip the available series of tips to help you take the best picture possible.<\/li>\n<li>Select the 3-second or 6-second timer. Most students have found 3 seconds to be sufficient.<\/li>\n<li>While the timer counts down, look up at the camera (above the screen). Do not look at the screen. Your picture will be taken, and you will instantly see a preview.<\/li>\n<li>Follow the same process and take 2 more pictures (again, you will be prompted with a 3-second or 6-second timer each time).<\/li>\n<li>(Optional) After your last picture, you are welcome to select one picture to re-take.<\/li>\n<li>Touch the \u201cexit\u201d button on the screen.<\/li>\n<li>After completing your session, you will see a progress bar at the bottom of the screen that shows your picture being uploaded to the Iris website.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>That\u2019s it! You will receive an email from noreply@irisbooth.com within 2-3 minutes after completing your session.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the \u201cGet Photos\u201d button in your email and you will be directed to a website to activate an account on the Iris website.<\/li>\n<li>Use the same email address that you entered at the booth and create a password.<\/li>\n<li>Important: Iris does not integrate with Syracuse\u2019s single sign-on. While you are welcome to use your netID@syr.edu email, do not use your netID password. Come up with a unique password that you have not used for any other account.<\/li>\n<li>Upon creating your password, you will be directed to log in to the Iris website.<\/li>\n<li>Type in your email and password to view and download your photos. Editing options include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cropping &amp; re-centering.<\/li>\n<li>Teeth whitening (available only on a laptop).<\/li>\n<li>Blemish correction (available only on a laptop).<\/li>\n<li>Lighting correction.<\/li>\n<li>Filters (the \u201cPrime\u201d filter is popular for a professional look)<br \/>\nWhile basic edits can be made on your phone, the full suite of tools is available only on a laptop or desktop.Once you\u2019re happy with your photo, you can download it or share it via email. Your images remain on the Iris website for 365 days, allowing you to revisit and edit as needed.
