Syracuse University Career Services can support you in organizing a one-on-one meeting with a professional in your field of interest. Unlike a job interview, you must request the meeting and set the agenda. Career Conversations help you network and answer industry specific questions you may have.
In partnership with schools and colleges, Career Fairs host over 100 hiring organizations. During Career Fairs students are encouraged to wear professional attire, bring several resume copies and network with attending organizations.
Hosted each fall and spring semester, Career Weeks provide students opportunities to meet one-on-one with a variety of industry professionals and experience firsthand some of the world’s leading companies. During this time, students may learn more about top organizations, internship opportunities and gain professional experience.
Students are invited to travel to major cities such as New York, Boston, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, M.D. and more through Immersion Trips. Attending students take advantage of this insider experience by connecting with Syracuse University corporate partners and alumni from multiple career fields, while experiencing what it would be like to live in the area.
Sophomores and juniors are invited to apply to explore employment and professional development opportunities. Past company visits include Converse, the Boston Celtics, Wayfair, Bank of America, Hill Holiday, Oracle and more!
