I am the associate director of health and wellness research and Assessment Committee Chair at the Barnes Center at The Arch. I am responsible for leading the assessment, research, database management, data analytics and reporting, and dashboard development, working with all the Barnes Center teams and programs (e.g., Health Care, Counseling, Recreation, Health Promotion, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA) committee). I also design and implement campus health and wellness surveys, program evaluations and focus groups to better understand student integrated health and wellness. As a first-generation bilingual immigrant, I am also deeply interested in the intersectionality of students’ well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Peking University, a doctorate of philosophy in applied educational psychology from Boston College and a graduate certificate in data science from Harvard University. Prior to joining Syracuse University, I was a researcher at Harvard University, Derek Bok Center of Teaching and Learning and Harvard College Institutional Research. I was also an assistant professor at State University of New York (SUNY) Oneonta, teaching assessment and advanced statistics. Besides work, I also spend time doing traditional Chinese artwork, cooking, traveling and enjoying time with my family and two kitties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
