A little booklet is available in the <a href=\"https:\/\/experience.syracuse.edu\/bewell\/primary-health-care\/pharmacy\/\">Barnes Center Pharmacy<\/a>, an important daily reminder to have.<\/p>\n<h3>When is the Thanksgiving Address used?<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Within the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, we open and close all gatherings, meetings and ceremonies with the Thanksgiving Address.<\/p>\n<h3>What is the meaning of the Thanksgiving Address?<\/h3>\n<p>During this time, we recite our relationship, acknowledgment and gratitude, giving thanks for all of life. Additionally, we address the Natural World, thanking each life-sustaining energy, and we recognize we are equally connected spiritual beings in this life force.
