I integrate existential and cognitive-behavioral perspectives while adapting my work to each student’s needs, identities, cultural background and goals. I view counseling as a shared process in which students can better understand themselves, explore what matters to them, recognize existing strengths and develop new ways of responding to challenges. I aim to provide a supportive and affirming space where students can show up as themselves and feel empowered to create meaningful changes in their lives.

Professional Interests: My clinical interests center on identity, relationships and the ways culture and social context shape mental health and well-being. I enjoy supporting students experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, identity exploration and major life transitions. I have a particular interest in working with LGBTQIA+ and gender-expansive communities, international students, neurodivergent individuals and students navigating multiple or intersecting cultural identities. Multiculturalism and social justice are central to how I understand both counseling and counselor development.

Group and Liaison Roles: Beyond individual counseling, I enjoy creating spaces where people can learn from and connect with one another. My experiences include developing and facilitating psychoeducational and process groups addressing gender identity, relationships, emotional regulation and interpersonal experiences. I have also been involved in advocacy, research, professional presentations and community engagement related to LGBTQIA+ mental health and multicultural counseling.

Educational Background: I earned a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Seattle University and am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in counseling and counselor education at Syracuse University.

Pronouns: She/Her/Hers

Therapeutic Style: My approach to counseling is grounded in curiosity, authenticity and respect for each person’s unique lived experience.
