I have a particular grounding in narrative practice, which shapes how I understand students as being separate from the problems they experience and as the authors of their own narratives. Alongside this, I integrate techniques from other modalities as needed, creating a flexible and collaborative space where students can explore their strengths and preferred ways of being.

Professional Interests: My clinical training has spanned across mental health spaces in educational institutions, a government shelter home and a mental health care space at a hospital, giving me a broad view of how psychological distress is experienced and understood across different contexts and populations. My primary areas of interest include trauma, depression, anxiety, interpersonal difficulties and identity development-related distress. I’m especially drawn to work that sits at the intersection of these areas, where a student’s sense of self and personal narratives are being shaped or challenged by their experiences, and where I can support and witness students as they navigate their journeys towards developing preferred ways of relating to themselves and their experiences.

Group and Liaison Roles: I have facilitated groups in school settings focused on social and emotional learning, supporting students in developing self-awareness and meaningful interpersonal connections. In hospital settings, I have also worked with neurodivergent groups, creating spaces for participants to explore and make meaning of their experiences while honoring and building upon their individual strengths.

Educational Background: I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at Syracuse University. I completed my undergraduate studies at Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) in Mumbai, India, where I majored in psychology within a liberal arts program.

Pronouns: She/Her/Hers

Therapeutic Style: My approach to therapy is eclectic, drawing from a range of therapeutic techniques and ideologies to meet each student where they are.
