I provide care advice and telephone triage, helping students determine the most appropriate appointment or service for their needs. Students may also see me in the sexually transmitted infection (STI) screening clinic or for vaccinations, specialty injections and a variety of other health services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Professional Interests:<\/strong> I have always enjoyed expanding my knowledge and learning new skills. I am an active member of the Gender Affirming Care Committee. I have deepened my understanding of tuberculosis and the importance of educating our student community about the disease and its treatments. I am also a Campus Connect trainer for suicide prevention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Educational Background:<\/strong> After earning a B.S. in finance from Siena College, I decided to pursue a career in nursing and completed an A.A.S. in nursing at SUNY Farmingdale. I then spent over a decade as a critical care nurse and later served as an elementary school nurse in my community.
