I work with the county health department and campus partners on infectious disease awareness and prevention. I enjoy being a patient\/student advocate and facilitating teaching students how to advocate for themselves and their own health care, and I am passionate about empowering health care professionals to learn and teach others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Educational Background:<\/strong> I graduated from St. Joseph&#8217;s School of Nursing diploma program and have over 35 years of nursing experience. My background includes work in the coronary care unit, emergency room, medical intensive care unit, outpatient cardiology and workers&#8217; compensation.
