I work in collaboration with students to identify their needs, problem- solve and achieve their personal goals. I believe that culture, systems and other contextual factors, and the dignity and worth of the person are always a part of the therapeutic relationship. I strive to foster healing, thriving and liberation in my work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Professional Interests:<\/strong> My areas of professional interest include identity development, trauma-informed practice, navigating anxiety and depression, coping with grief and loss, interpersonal relationships and building community, as well as parentification and caretaking. I am also interested in increasing access to mental health support, working with individuals new to therapy, exploring group processes and interventions, and helping individuals build capital and self-advocacy to navigate systems and resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Educational Background:<\/strong> I earned a master\u2019s degree in social work at University at Buffalo in 2024 and I am a licensed master social worker (LMSW). I earned a bachelor\u2019s degree in psychology from Colorado State University in 2009 and a master\u2019s degree in college student affairs from Pennsylvania State University in 2012.
