Committed to the student-centered perspective, I believe my students are experts in their own lives and have the potential to resolve temporary difficulties through self-autonomy and efficacy.\u202fMy students and I collaborate to tailor treatment models to each student\u2019s situation flexibly, which further promotes positive changes toward their goals through empowerment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Professional Interests:<\/strong> My areas of clinical interest include interpersonal relationships and dynamics, identity development, adjustment and transition, depression, anxiety and trauma. I am passionate about working with students from diverse backgrounds, including non-traditional students, graduate students and international students. Before joining the Barnes Center Counseling team, I had worked in various settings, including hospitals, community clinics and college counseling centers, which exposed me to a wide range of clinical presentations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Educational Background:<\/strong> I earned bachelor\u2019s degrees in mathematics and psychology from the University of Washington.
