Golf and Tennis

For the 2023-24 academic year, full-time Syracuse University and SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) undergraduate students with a valid college I.D. have access to free golf and loaner golf clubs.

  • Rounds of golf and loaner golf clubs are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Sunday-Saturday: 8 a.m.-7 p.m.
  • Play 9 or 18 holes.
  • Golf carts are $40.
  • A bucket of balls for the driving range is $6.
  • Valid student I.D. must be presented in the Golf Shop prior to each visit.
  • Maximum group size is four players.
  • There are no beverage coolers allowed on the course.

Reservations are required and can be made up to two hours in advance by calling Drumlins Country Club at 315.446.2323. Please note, availability may be subject to academic breaks, club events and more. Program date runs through May 10, 2024.

  • Please identify yourself as a Syracuse University or SUNY-ESF undergraduate student when calling to reserve court time.
  • Your student I.D. card must be presented at every visit. Any student without a valid I.D. at the time of your visit will be charged a $15 guest fee, and you must be playing with another student who has a valid I.D. There are no exceptions.
  • Ball machine use is $10 per hour and must be reserved at time of court reservation.
  • Free of charge, tennis racquets are available to borrow.
  • Guests of a valid student I.D. holder may participate in tennis activities for $15 per visit.
  • Clean, dry, non-marking court shoes are required.
  • Reservations are limited to one hour and thirty minutes.
  • Courts are limited to four players per reservation.
  • Student reservations will not be accepted Monday-Friday from 9-11:30 a.m. or 5-8 p.m.
  • If you do not show up for your reservation, you will receive one (1) warning. Any additional no-shows will result in not being allowed to reserve court time in advance.

Instructional Tennis Clinics

  • Thursday: 8:30-10 p.m.
  • Class sizes are limited to eight participants; please register by 3 p.m. the day of the clinic.
  • Please note, there must be at least three individuals registered to host a clinic.
  • Please reserve clinic space by calling Drumlins Country Club at 315.446.2323.
