The Barnes Center at The Arch features a designated esports gaming room. Get your game on in this inclusive, welcoming and safe space where participants of any skill level can explore and enjoy the exciting world of video gaming.

Explore the Esports Room

All necessary equipment is provided. However, if you have your own gear, feel free to bring your headphones, headset, keyboard or mouse! This space includes a virtual reality unit, 36 personal computer (PC) gaming stations and six console gaming stations for Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo. Check out a game from our library to play with your friends or train by yourself!

  • PCs and Consoles: No reservation required. Spaces are assigned on a first come, first served basis for up to three hours a day.
  • Special Events and Some Programs: May require Wellness Portal reservations.  Visit the Wellness Portal webpage for complete instructions.
  • Syracuse University and SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) Student I.D. Holders: All aspects of the esports room are free.
  • Barnes Center Members (18 Years of Age or Older): May access esport resources.
