Title: Weight Room Coordinator
How I Support Student Health and Wellness: By recognizing and understanding the limitations and stigmas related to recreation participation, I aim to provide an environment in which students feel comfortable and confident exploring new ways to achieve health. I am a firm believer that wellness looks different on everyone; therefore, it is my utmost priority that the Barnes Center at The Arch serves as a welcoming, encouraging space on campus. I can assist with all things weight and fitness-related, including equipment, policies and procedures.
Professional Interests: Facility management, event operation, student development, and inclusivity and accessibility.
Educational Background: I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from State University of New York (SUNY) Brockport in May 2020. I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in sport and facility management from SUNY Cortland and will graduate in August 2023. I joined the Barnes Center at The Arch in December 2020. I am a certified First Aid/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Instructor.
