Title: Ice Sports Programming Coordinator
How I Support Student Health and Wellness: As the coordinator of the Tennity Ice Skating Pavilion, I work tirelessly to develop leagues, instructional programs and special events that appeal to ice sports athletes, the general student body and the campus community. I have also created a number of public-facing programs at the rink that allow us to connect with the greater Central New York (CNY) community and bring in revenue to help ensure that our student programming remains free or low cost.
Professional Interests: Event management, ice building, painting, maintenance, adaptive sports, coaching.
Groups and Liaison Roles: Student Appreciation Committee (Barnes Center at The Arch Recreation), Adult Hockey Coordinator (New York State Amateur Hockey Central Section), Assistant Coach (CNY Flyers Sled Hockey, Camillus Youth Hockey Association)
- Instructional Programs: Learn-to-Skate, Play Hockey (Adult Hockey), Orange Sleds (Adaptive Hockey), Freestyle and Ice Dance

Educational Background: I received a bachelor’s degree in professional and technical communication from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2003. I am completing the U.S. Ice Rink Association’s Certified Ice Technician professional designation in October 2022.
